Kneavel, Ph.D., an associate dean in La Salle Universityâs School of Nursing and Health Sciences, evaluated relationships between gender, social support, and friendship as predictors of stress. While friendship can provide you with access to real-time counsel and compassionate support that lower stress levels, itâs also a complex relationship that requires reciprocation. A research study by a La Salle University professor found that this component of friendship is likely to produce higher levels of stress in women than those experienced by men. ....

Staff, students say they love Eisenhower USD 428 receives grant to offset COVID expenses For Valentine’s day, students and staff at Eisenhower Elementary School created posters explaining why they love their school. A video of kiddos and adults holding their posters can be found on the Eisenhower Elementary Eagles Facebook page. Just before Valentine’s Day, the staff and students at Eisenhower Elementary School finished the sentence “I love Eisenhower because .” and wrote their feelings on posters. Then they went on camera so the school could make a video slide show, set to music. It was posted on the Eisenhower Elementary Eagles Facebook page. ....
