Ilan Talha Binongkasan alias “King” surrendered to the military’s 41st Mechanized Company at Purok Poblacion in barangay Rogongon on December 14, 2020.
He was a squad leader of Squad Uno, Platoon Dos, Ace Company, Sub-Regional Committee 5, North Central Mindanao Regional Command, according to Western Mindanao Command Commander Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan, Jr.
King, 35, said that even before his wife convinced him to surrender, he had been thinking about going back to his family this Christmas and to stop his children from taking the same path that he did in the armed struggle.

NetGuardians raised CHF 17m in new capital, more than the double each of the previous rounds. Lead investors include the Pictet Group, a NetGuardians client, as well as private investment group ACE & Company, headquartered in Geneva with offices in London, Cairo, Hong Kong and New York.
The funds will be used to support meeting rising demand for its fraud-mitigation software. NetGuardians will do this by strengthening its position in existing markets and further developing its software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription model.

ILIGAN CITY A New People’s Army squad leader surrendered to the troops of the 41st Mechanized Company at Purok Poblacion, Barangay Rogongon here on Monday.
Western Mindanao Command commander Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan, Jr., identified the NPA leader as Ilan Talha Binongkasan, a.k.a. King, the squad leader of Squad Uno, Platoon Dos, Ace Company, Sub-Regional Committee 5, North Central Mindanao Regional Command.
Talha handed over one 5.56mm M16 Elisco rifle with three magazines and 78 rounds of ammunition.
On Monday afternoon, Taha was presented to 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade Commander Brig. Gen. Facundo Palafox IV, and 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Domingo Dulay at the 2Mech brigade headquarters in barangay Maria Cristina, this City.
