This new and exciting red carpet affair, quickly becoming Rhode Island’s most talked about GNO, will be held at the newly renovated NYLO Lounge in Warwick on Thursday, June 7th 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
The sold out event will feature a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres, shopping showcase, and fashion show with favorite local celebrities and favorite media personalities in attendance. Bulletin board: West County Cider Beacon Red Clay Classic tennis tournament upcoming >The annual West County Cider Beacon Red Clay Classic tennis tournament will begin July 26.
The men’s singles event will be held at 5:30 p.m. each day at the clay courts at Beacon Field on Sanderson Street in Greenfield.
The fee is $10 for the public, and free for Greenfield Tennis Association members. All matches will be best two out of three sets with a 12-point tiebreaker. The draw is single elimination and players must start play by 5:30 each day.
Each player must bring a can of unopened tennis balls to each match. The winner keeps the unopened can. Players must be available to play all week or until the draw is completed.

Frontier’s Jack Vecellio continues to raise the bar for himself.
At the 2021 Flying Circus Summer Fiber-Blast Pole Vault Festival Meet in Warwick, New York, on Saturday, Vecellio improved on his personal best with a top leap of 16 feet, one inch. That height would have had him in fourth place at Nationals in Eugene, Oregon, the week before.
