The perez familys produce truck is a long time fixture along the embarcadero. She brings her son, 2yearold rafael with her. Telling relatives, she doesnt trust his care to anyone else. Around 4 15 this afternoon, the unthinkable happened when little rafael played in the parking lot. The child was struck by a vehicle and the child is currently deceased. He has succumb to his injuries. Reporter relatives say the driver of the pickup truck that struck the little boy, appears to be a customer who drove up to buy produce, but never saw the child.
