The task at hand was a tall one for the WACO basketball teams on Friday when they faced off with West Burlington squads sitting on top of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Divisions and the Warriors fell in a pair of contests. 
The Warrior girls were in striking distance against the Falcons trailing just 32-31 at half. An 18-10 third quarter proved to be enough to keep WACO at arm’s length and the Falcons (16-1) came out on top 62-54. McKenna Marlow led all scorers with 21 points. WACO’s Ellah Kissell managed 18 points, Grace Coble had 14, and Morgan Graber 14.  ....
