Waterfall Mansion The iconic Manhattan townhouse known as the “Waterfall Mansion” has recently hit the market for $34 million. The house was originally built in 1899 and was the home of Leslie and D.D. Tillett, well-known textile designers behind the eponymous fabric company (which designed patterns for the Kennedy White House!). During the two generations that the Tillett family owned the property, it served as both a studio and a home. In 2008, it was renovated into a gallery space by architect Toshiko Mori and real estate developer Kate Shin. The home now features a private iron entrance and elevator, along with 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. The indoor waterfall for which the mansion got its name measures a breathtaking 22 feet wide and 23 feet high. ....
