Former Santa Barbara pedophile gets life in prison for two murders April 28, 2021 By JOSH FRIEDMAN A Los Angeles County judge on Tuesday sentenced a convicted sex offender with Central Coast ties to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murders of two 6-year-old boys in the 80s. As a teen, Kenneth Kasten Rasmuson lived in Santa Barbara County, where in 1981, he was convicted of sodomy of a child under 14. Deemed a sexually violent predator, Rasmuson, 59, spent much of his adult life behind bars, yet he has still managed to kidnap and sexually abuse numerous children. Rasmuson lured or snatched boys off streets in their neighborhoods and even from their front yards. ....
