It was learnt that the NPA had in 2019 placed advertisement in newspapers calling for expression of interest and bids. Sources said three bid rounds were cancelled on the orders of the minister over disagreements on the selective bids and open bids. ....

ICPC Chairman, Prof Bolaji Owasanoye, made this known weekend in Abuja when the Senate Committee on Senate Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes Committee led Senator Suleiman Kwari came on oversight visit to the National Headquarters of the agency in Abuja. According to him, N418.8 million and $1.5 million in Domiciliary Accounts were forfieted to the Federal government between January to March 2021 while the anti-graft agency also seized five plots of land, 13 businesses, 29 buildings, one vehicle and five farms during the period under review. ....
