Five people in van trapped under rubble after part of structure collapses at unfinished SUKE Highway

KUALA LUMPUR (March 3): Two women died while three more were severely injured after the van they were travelling in was crushed by an overhead bridge structure which collapsed in an incident at Desa Tun Razak, here this evening.
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department head ACP Zulkefly Yahya said in the incident at 5.58pm the van was passing through Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) and two victims were killed at the scene, Bernama reported.
He said the five victims aged between 30 and 45 were locals.
“The van driver who was seriously injured was brought out at 8.55pm while the last victim was rescued at 9.27pm. ....

PETALING JAYA: Four out of five people who were trapped in a van buried under rubble of a collapsed scaffolding at the work site of a flyover along the Ampang-bound route of the Middle Ring-Road 2 (MRR2) near Desa Tasik in Sungai Besi have been rescued.
It is learnt that a man in his 60’s was among those rescued this evening.
A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said efforts to rescue the last victim were ongoing. ....
