The Supreme Court on Wednesday expressed strong displeasure at the manner in which the farmers unions had cast unnecessary aspersions on the Committee members and said that the Supreme Court does not appreciate branding people like this .
Meanwhile, central government has also withdrawn its petition seeking an injunction against the proposed tractor rally by farmers on the Republic Day after the apex court said it was police matter.

The Indian Embassy here on Monday announced that the flag hoisting ceremony for this year s Republic Day on January 26 will be confined to its staff only, citing the resurgence of coronavirus cases in provinces adjoining Beijing and related restrictions.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India Tuesday suspended the implementation of three farm laws on the 48th day of farmers protest near the national capital Delhi.
The Narendra Modi government had on Monday appealed to the apex court not to put on hold the implementation of the farm laws.
The Supreme Court of India however ignored the government s appeal and suspended the implementation of the farm laws.

The Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee on Tuesday rejected the Supreme Court s proposal for the formation of a committee on the farm laws. Earlier in the day, a bench of the SC headed by CJI SA Bobde stayed the implementation of the three new farm laws till further orders.
