People of all ages are invited later this month to join in experiencing fun and faith-forming activities at First Presbyterian Church in Elizabethtown. Messy Church is set from 9 to 11:30 a.m. July 24 at the church, 1016 Pear Orchard Road in Elizabethtown. The Rev. Chelsea Benham said Messy Church can be found around the world and is based on the values of âall ages together, celebration, creativity, hospitality and centering ourselves in Christ.â âIt began in the UK in 2004 and since then has spread around the world, operating across a wide range of Christian denominations and traditions,â she said. Benham started a Messy Church at her previous church in Indianapolis and said it was an amazing experience. She started it at First Presbyterian in November 2019. ....

Fairford news with Chris Roberts AT the annual meeting of Fairford Town Council held on Tuesday, May 4, Cllr James Nicholls was unanimously re-elected for a second term as mayor of Fairford. A NEW Gloucestershire County Councillor for Fairford and Lechlade was elected on May 6. He is Dom Morris, who lives on the family farm at Quenington. He replaces Ray Theodoulou who has been a GCC Councillor since he was first elected in 2001. Ray served as a cabinet member for finance, property and investments for ten years and then, for eight years, oversaw the construction of the energy from waste project – the largest and most controversial project ever undertaken in Gloucestershire. ....
