Renovation work at the Hāwera and Stratford Work and Income service centres means temporary closure for both. Stratford’s service centre closed on June 28 and will reopen on July 13, while the Hāwera office will close on July 19 and reopen on August 10. At each site, the changes will result in a more welcoming office, clients will have more privacy when they talk with a case manager and there will be added security for clients, visitors and staff, Taranaki King Country Whanganui regional commissioner Gloria Campbell said.
