Radon is colorless, tasteless and odorless and can cause lung cancer; you would have no way of knowing if it has infiltrated your home unless you test for it. Solano to apply for grant to help Fairfield affordable housing project FAIRFIELD Solano County supervisors authorized submission of a grant application Tuesday for $5.6 million from the No Place Like Home program. This is the third round of funding and is in collaboration with EAH Housing and Fairfield for the development of a 67-unit affordable housing project, including 20 units of permanent supportive housing. The location of the project would be 212 E. Tabor Ave. in Fairfield “The No Place Like Home program dedicates up to $2 billion in bond proceeds to invest in the development of permanent supportive housing for people in need of mental health services and who are either experiencing homelessness, are chronically homeless, or at risk of chronic homelessness,” the staff report to the board states. ....
