San Francisco on Track to Vaccinate All Residents by June 30
At a committee hearing with San Francisco supervisors on the city’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout on Thursday, health officials said the city is on track to reach its goal of vaccinating all residents by June 30 and that the city will expand eligibility to children as early as next month.
So far, 65% of eligible people in San Francisco ages 16 and older have been vaccinated, health officials said. Over 56% of the city s total population has received at least one dose, higher than state and national averages. Vaccine eligibility has been open to anyone 16 and older since last week and the city plans to open up vaccine eligibility to 12- to 15-year-old children by mid-May, and to younger children by early summer. Officials said they are planning to open up vaccine eligibility to the 12- to 15-year-old age group in anticipation of FDA approval in the coming weeks.
Cowboy Wally Hagaman
Perhaps Cowboy Wally Hagaman was best known as the friendly host who served incredible round flat food at Cowboy Pizza in Nevada City during the ‘80s and ‘90s, but he was at home on a wide range of activities that benefited his fellow humans.
After experiencing multiple strokes, he passed peacefully at home among loved ones on Dec. 21, 2020.
His roaming of the ranges is a story to remember.
Cowboy Wally was born June 30, 1942 in Tacoma, Washington. He did most of his growing up in Montana. Born into an International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees family, Wally learned many aspects of the stage from his father and kept up his membership and theatrical skills even during the 20 years of practice as a therapist.
While we re at it, how about renaming San Francisco?

Just over two weeks ago, Nancy Pelosi began a speech calling for the impeachment of Donald Trump. She began by quoting Abraham Lincoln. “Fellow citizens, we cannot escape history. We will be remembered in spite of ourselves .”
Thirteen days later, the San Francisco school board voted to impeach Lincoln, seven other presidents of the United States, three former mayors of San Francisco and two dozen other notable people by removing their names from public schools because they were either racists or conquistadors or had some connection to slavery, racism or oppression. Mission High School and Presidio Middle School were also on the list. Even a mythical place is getting the ax: El Dorado. And forget the Alamo.
