A man has survived a horrific saltwater crocodile attack by stabbing the reptile in its eye. Isaac Adidi, his partner Shawntain Manantan and his cousin were taking a dip at Vyces swimming hole in Cape York, in Far North Queensland on Sunday. The 22-year-old was about to get out of the water when the four-metre croc grabbed him from behind. The Department of Environment and Science confirmed the reptile had been caught in a trap set within the once popular swimming hole. Mark Ridge, 56, has called for the animal to be shot after he was forced to price its jaws off his head about 12.45pm on Thursday.
