Jazz is the focus of the new SC Public Radio Program ColaJazz Presents
SC Public Radio s new jazz series ColaJazz Presents will feature the music of world-class South Carolina jazz musicians interspersed with interviews with the artists themselves.
Jazz is a familiar ingredient in the musical culture of South Carolina. Many jazz artists past and present have hailed from the Palmetto State. South Carolinians now will have the chance to hear many of the state’s best musicians on the new program, “ColaJazz Presents,” which premiered this week on South Carolina Public Radio.
Host Mark Rapp started the non-profit foundation ColaJazz to support and grow jazz in and around the Midlands. He said the show’s purpose is to feature the “phenomenal talent” in South Carolina.

One of its national accounts, a renewable energy contractor, was working on a solar project that spanned several locations in its coverage area. It needed several heavy-duty triple reel trailers capable of hauling three 97 in. dia. by 77 in. by 10,000 lbs. wide reels for medium voltage (MV) underground cable.

A national heavy equipment rental company and customer of Felling Trailers had one of its accounts, a renewable energy contractor, working on a solar project spanning several locations in their coverage area. Bringing the power from the solar fields, they needed some heavy-duty triple reel trailers that were capable of hauling three 97-inch-diameter by 77-inch-wide, 10,000 pound reels for underground cable.
With the solar projects already in progress, the trailers were needed inside of a four-week time frame. To compare, the standard build time for a reel trailer the required size needed for the project would be 10 weeks or longer. The national rental company had previously utilized Felling Trailers stock inventory and knew they could help for this situation as well.
