A superyacht and its 20 passengers and crew have sailed into the centre of Queensland s COVID-19 focus after a month in the Maldives, with the 75-metre vessel now roped off on the Cairns waterfront as authorities try to trace a source of infection among the group.
Queensland Health Minister Yvette D Ath called out the group for their lack of co-operation with police after a 20-year-old female crew member tested positive on Thursday, with the Lady E s captain saying they had done nothing wrong and that two on board had been previously cleared of the virus.
