The âminor planetâ is asteroid 5277, first discovered in 1988 and named after Brisbane in 2009. Lord mayor Adrian Schrinner said Mr Rigby had passed on an âextensive knowledge of the galaxyâ to the people of Brisbane as he prepared to leave after more than 36 years. ....
