Chelsea Piers Fitness Launches Comprehensive Three City Free Outdoor Fitness Series

Chelsea Piers Fitness has launched a free outdoor fitness series for the communities surrounding their three Chelsea Piers Fitness club locations.  Their Downtown Brooklyn, Chelsea and Stamford, Connecticut clubs have each connected with local parks and entities for their expert instructors to bring complementary, equipment-free fitness classes out to their communities.
“The past year really highlighted a few things.  First, there is a huge interest and need for fitness for both mental and physical health.  Second, many people use group fitness as a social and support network.  The third thing that we saw nationwide was the importance of communities supporting one another,” commented Keeth Smart, Regional General Manager, Chelsea Piers Fitness.  “Based on these observations we opted to look forward and plan a comprehensive free outdoor fitnes ....

During a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey on March 7, Meghan Markle opened up about the difficulties of royal life, including the massive toll it took on her mental health. As she suffered constant public scrutiny, which was often rooted in racism, Markle revealed that she was having “clear and real and frightening and constant” thoughts of suicide while pregnant with her son Archie. “I just didn’t want to be alive anymore,” she revealed.
