(Image Source: IANS) Updated: May 11, 2021, 07:11 PM IST Amid the growing COVID-19 cases, the night curfew in 36 cities of Gujarat has been extended by a week till May 18. The night curfew timings in Gujarat are from 8 pm to 6 am. Gujarat recorded 11,592 new COVID-19 cases along with 117 deaths in a single day. Apart from the night curfew, the state has also imposed certain other daytime restrictions till May 12 to check the spread of the virus. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had earlier ruled out possibilities of imposing a lockdown in the state and so a curfew was imposed in the state.
