This will be Kejriwal's second visit to Gujarat this year, the previous one being less than six months ago when AAP won 27 seats in the 120-member Surat Municipal Corporation and emerged as the main opposition to the ruling BJP.
As the BJP retained Gujarat, its bickering ally, the Shiv Sena, on Monday said it was the Rahul Gandhi-led Congress which had emerged as the real winner in the election.
Although the BJP retained power in Gujarat, it lost the Unjha assembly constituency in Mehsana district, which includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi s hometown Vadnagar, to Congress.
Backward class leader Alpesh Thakor, who had joined the Congress just ahead of the Gujarat Assembly polls, on Monday scored his maiden election victory from Radhanpur seat, defeating his closest BJP rival by 15,000 votes.
