Bicyclists killed in suspected DUI crash on Pinellas Trail were Odessa couple
Cory Corrado, 31, tried to pass in a no passing zone, causing a crash that killed a couple riding a section of the Pinellas Trail along Keystone Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
 
 
Janine Dorsey and Peter Yore of Odessa enjoyed pedaling the bike trails in Tampa Bay on their new tandem bicycle. Friends and family confirmed the couple were killed Tuesday evening while riding on the Pinellas Trail near their home. The Florida Highway Patrol says the driver who caused the crash was under the influence of an unknown substance. [ Facebook ] ....

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. - Janine Dorsey and Peter Yore were an outdoorsy couple. They recently bought a tandem bike, dubbed the Pineapple Express, as a way to be active and ride together.
I’m angry. She was ripped away, and Peter were both ripped away from their families way too soon, said Jenny Hawley, a friend of Dorsey’s.
FHP says just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, Corey Corrado was behind the wheel of PT Cruiser heading west on Keystone Road. Troopers say the 31-year-old was high on drugs and tried passing in a no-passing zone.  ....

Trifecta Construction was founded in 2006 by Ramon Robledo, Mauricio Morales, and Alfredo Ventura. They started out as three buddies who had a dream of owning their own construction company and utilizing the skills they each mastered. They chose to become business partners and name their company to reflect a very good bet; that is, picking the top three finishers in a race.
Today, Robeldo and Morales continue the El Centro-based business. Their company has grown to include a diverse crew of 10 employees.
Robeldo is a native of the Imperial Valley who grew up in Heber and graduated from Central Union High School. He remembers working closely with his father who was a harvesting contractor before he entered construction. He was fortunate to obtain a job with Lesicka Construction. ....

The coalition of volunteers on site on Saturday, April 17 included the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Department, Traverse Area Paddle Club, Youthwork, Grand Traverse Conservation District, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Trout Unlimited, Brook Trout Coalition and Audubon of Traverse City. ....
