Coastal Club Cares, a group of Coastal Club community residents near Lewes, has launched a 2020 Feed the Kids Challenge to benefit the Harry K Foundation.
The challenge goal is to generate $20,000 by Thursday, Dec. 31, to help defeat childhood hunger.
The Harry K Foundation, established by Rehoboth Beach resident and business owner Harry Keswani, is a local nonprofit organization known for its commitment to fighting food insecurity. In Delaware, 12.9 percent of all residents are food insecure.
Coastal Club Cares launched its challenge Dec. 5 as a way to fight childhood hunger in the area, build community pride and be productive during COVID-19 restrictions. ....
