An airplane carrying seventy thousand (70,000) doses of the AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine landed in Dominica at approximately 7:35 pm on Tuesday, February 9 2021 as Dominica continues its fight against the covid-19 virus. Prime Minister, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, along with the Acting Minister for Health, Wellness and New Health Investment, Hon. Kent Edwards, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Dr. Kenneth Darroux and other Members of Cabinet welcomed 70,000 doses of the AstraZenca covid-19 vaccine to Dominica at the Douglas Charles Airport. This vaccine is a grant donation from the Government of India and will assist the Government of Dominica in the roll out of its vaccination programme. ....
