Five people arrested by police on Tuesday
ANGOLA â The following people were booked into the Steuben County Jail on these initial charges following arrests made by law enforcement officers on Tuesday. Formal charges, if any, are by the Steuben County Prosecutorâs Office.
⢠Coty A. Alaura, 35, of the 100 block of C.R. 61, Hamilton, arrested at the jail on a charge of misdemeanor battery.
⢠Tia M. Barnes, 26, of the 200 block of East Highland Street, Albion, arrested at the jail on a warrant alleging felony and misdemeanor failure to appear in court.
⢠Cheri R. King, 57, of Lane 587 Lake James, Fremont, arrested at home on a charge of misdemeanor domestic battery.
Several booked into Noble County Jail
ALBION â Several people were booked into the Noble County Jail from Friday morning through Monday morning, according to jail records.
Vincent H. Chilcote, 23, of the 10900 block of East U.S. 20, LaGrange, was arrested at 12:03 p.m. Friday on a warrant. No charging information provided. Chilcote was held on $2,500.
Kristan M. Christian, 32, of the 1100 block of South C.R. 950E, LaGrange, was booked at 9:36 a.m. to serve a sentence relating to a court order. No charging information provided.
Robert L. Collins, 65, of the 200 block of Autumn Hills Drive, Albion, was arrested at 1:13 p.m. Friday by Albion police on charges of battery-bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor; public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor. Collins was held on $2,500 bond.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - The Memphis VA held a town hall Tuesday at the Earl Bell Community Center to discuss a new clinic opening in Jonesboro in July.
The clinic will be located off East Highland Street by Walmart and Hobby Lobby, moving roughly a mile and a half away from its old location on South Caraway Road.
Much will be the same, with a newer, nicer building and plans to potentially expand care in the future.

Don R. Flanigan, 78, of East Highland Street, Avis, passed away March 11, 2021 at his residence. He was married to Jean Copenhaver Flanigan who survives.
Arrangements are being completed and will be announced by Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC, Lock Haven.
