The goal of this month-long campaign is to encourage people to get screened for colon cancer.
Many physicians agree that when the pandemic hit, colorectal cancer screenings declined across the nation.

Eastern Pennsylvania Endoscopy Center Awarded Top Pennsylvania Ambulatory Surgery Center by Newsweek Magazine
Newsweek recently named Eastern Pennsylvania Endoscopy Center (EPEC) as one of America’s Best Ambulatory Surgical Centers of 2021. Newsweek partnered with research firm Statistica to compile the list, which features the top 400 ambulatory surgical centers in the 25 states that have the most ambulatory facilities.
Experts and survey participants took into consideration quality of care, performance data and peer recommendations relative to in-state competition. How facilities were responding to the threat of COVID-19 also was taken into consideration.
“At EPEC we’ve taken every precaution to ensure that our patients receive the quality care they need in a safe, dedicated outpatient setting, so there is no reason to put off potentially lifesaving procedures like colonoscopy,” says Anthony Auteri, MD, Chief, LVHN Division of Gastroenterology. ....
