Cash reward offered for information about July 2020 homicide in York City Updated 8:51 PM; A cash reward is being offered for information that helps York City detectives solve last summer’s homicide of Quinton Jamal Jacobs, police said. Jacobs, 31, of East Poplar Street in York City, was found dead about 12:40 a.m. July 30 in the 1000 block of East Market Street, according to police, who said he was shot while outside. Known as “Q,” Jacobs died of multiple gunshot wounds, the York County Coroner’s Office has said. Police issued a news release Wednesday saying, “We are asking for assistance so we may bring justice and closure to Q’s grieving family.”

York-area woman now reported missing survived being shot, run over last year York Dispatch A York-area woman who survived being shot five times, run over by her attackers car and left for dead on a quiet North Codorus Township road last summer is now missing, according to state police in Carlisle. Meredith Celeste Wilson Keltner, 28, was last seen  March 28 and last texted someone on April 7, said Trooper Megan Ammerman, a state police spokesperson. She confirmed to The York Dispatch on Tuesday morning that Keltner being missing isn t believed to be related to her attempted homicide. The two York City men charged in that attack remain in prison.

Outdoor dining at Murphy’s OK’d By Sheryl Roadcap - sroadcap@sidneydailynews.com SIDNEY Outdoor dining at Murphy’s Craftbar + Kitchen, LLC has been approved by the Sidney City Council at its East Poplar Street restaurant. Sidney City Council adopted a resolution Monday evening granting a license for the business to have an outdoor dining area during its teleconference meeting. Public Works Director Jon Crusey said Frank Catanzerite, doing businesses as Murphy’s Craftbar + Kitchen, LLC, requested approval for the outdoor dining area at 110 E. Poplar St. Crusey presented a drawing showing the proposed permanent railing would be 12 feet, 7.5 inches from the face of the building, providing for 5 feet of clearance between the railing and back of the curb. The railing will extend across the front of the building from the west building line to the west side of the front entrance. A tree will need to be removed before installing the railing and Catanzerite will need to get a ri
