Four charged with robbery that’s related to recent York City homicide; 2 still at large

The charges are in relation to the fatal shooting of Whispering Wind Bear Spirit, 41, who was previously named Jennifer Jean Makos.
Her most recent listed address was at LifePath Christian Ministries in the 300 block of West Market Street, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
Spirit had been staying at the home of a friend in the 300 block of Smyser Street, which is where the robbery happened and where Spirit was fatally shot, officials said.

Four men are charged with robbery in connection with a recent York City homicide, but the suspected killer and his primary accomplice remain at large, court documents state.

A 36-year-old man was killed in a shooting early Friday morning that left two others wounded, York City Police reported.
The man, identified by the York County Coroner s office as Victor Acosta-Delgado, was one of three people shot at the intersection of Parkway Boulevard and North George Street, police reported in a news release. Acosta-Delgado resided in the 100 block of East Maple St. in York City.
Police were dispatched to the scene at 12:21 a.m. and upon arrival found three men with gunshot wounds. All three were taken to York Hospital, where Acosta-Delgado was pronounced dead at 12:49 a.m., despite life-saving efforts. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed early Saturday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. The two other men, aged 39 and 24, were treated for their wounds and are expected to survive, according to police.
Cash reward offered for information about July 2020 homicide in York City

A cash reward is being offered for information that helps York City detectives solve last summer’s homicide of Quinton Jamal Jacobs, police said.
Jacobs, 31, of East Poplar Street in York City, was found dead about 12:40 a.m. July 30 in the 1000 block of East Market Street, according to police, who said he was shot while outside.
Known as “Q,” Jacobs died of multiple gunshot wounds, the York County Coroner’s Office has said.
Police issued a news release Wednesday saying, “We are asking for assistance so we may bring justice and closure to Q’s grieving family.”
