JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are investigating a theft of catalytic converters from a business on West Parker Road, with officials asking for help from the public.
According to an incident report, officers went to the business in the 400 block of West Parker Road Jan. 6 about the theft.
Police believe the suspect stole the catalytic converters from a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser and a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
CCSO: Disabled man robbed
JONESBORO â A Poinsett County man was arrested over the weekend after deputies say he robbed a disabled victim.
The victim heard a noise outside his Lake City home and went to investigate. He found
Christopher Chaffin, 32, of Trumann, in his garage, according to the probable cause affidavit.
When he confronted Chaffin, the suspect knocked him out of his wheelchair and stole his wallet and keys. The victimâs garage door and vehicle were reportedly damaged.
Chiffon was spotted in Bay and the victimâs property was found on him. He was subsequently arrested and turned over the Craighead County Sheriffâs Office.
