(KAIT) - Jonesboro police are investigating a theft of catalytic converters from a business on West Parker Road, with officials asking for help from the public. According to an incident report, officers went to the business in the 400 block of West Parker Road Jan. 6 about the theft. Police believe the suspect stole the catalytic converters from a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser and a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

(KAIT) - It’s a new year, and Jonesboro police are already investigating several catalytic converter thefts. According to a police report, the first theft happened to an Arkansas State University van, where someone cut off two catalytic converters from a 2010 Ford Econoline E-350, valued at $3,000. The theft happened sometime between Dec. 30 and Jan. 4 at Burt’s Auto Service, 5527 E. Nettleton Avenue in Jonesboro. The second theft involved a van from Master Roof & Remodel, 4801 E. Parker Rd., where $1,676.23 in damage happened when someone stole a catalytic converter from a 2017 Ford F-450.
