THE rolling infection rate of coronavirus in the BCP Council area has more than doubled from last week, data shows. An interactive map on the government website uses data from Public Health England and shows a growth in cases across some parts of the county. It grades Middle layer Super Output Areas (MSOAs) on the severity of their rolling rate with places seeing the highest number of infections coloured purple, known as hotspots . The latest infection rate across BCP was 145.7 per 100,000, with 576 cases confirmed in the seven days leading up to December 17. The week before, leading up to December 9, the rolling rate stood at 67.5 per 100,000, with 267 cases confirmed. ....
