LAS VEGAS (KTNV) â A Nevada correctional officer who was arrested in December after he fired multiple rounds outside of a club on Fremont Street is due in court on May 27.
Ismael Almaraz was arrested on Dec. 20, 2020. According to the arrest report for Almaraz, he was at a club on East Fremont Street when he became involved in an altercation with another man.
Club security broke up the fight and helped Almaraz to a restroom. Almaraz told the security guards that he wanted to press charges against the other man and asked the guards to detain him.

POCATELLO A local woman was arrested late Tuesday night following a suspected DUI crash that left two people injured in Pocatello.
Officers responded to the crash at the corner of East Fremont Street and North 5th Avenue just before 10 p.m. They found Madisen Jean Kalivas, 24, in a 2002 Chevy Tahoe. She admitted to causing the accident, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Officers also found a 30-year-old mother and an 8-year-old daughter inside a 2016 Nissan Versa, which had collided with the Tahoe, according to KPVI and police reports. The mother had to be extracted from the vehicle by the Pocatello firefighters. The juvenile passenger was treated for a “large gash on the side of her head,” according to police reports. Both were transported to Portneuf Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Jeffrey T. Ronowski, 45, of Des Plaines, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Fellows Court on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to wear a seat belt, no valid registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. In the same incident, Salena Ronowski, 35, of Des Plaines, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal trespass to a motor vehicle and failure to wear a seat belt. Both were taken to the DuPage County Jail. Salena Ronowski was found to be in possession of two baggies of crack cocaine and a glass smoking pipe, according to a p
