ROGERS, Ark. Fire crews responded to a house fire on Plank Road in Rogers at around 2 p.m. Saturday (July 4).
Fire Chief Blake Ballou, says the house was fully involved when fire crews arrived on the scene.
No one was injured during the fire. The house is a total loss.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Piney Point Fire Department was assisted by Beaver Lake Fire Department and Rocky Branch Fire Department.

Candidates Set for in Person Fire District Elections April 20

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater Township fire elections will be held April 20, with residents voting on candidates for the fire commission and the year’s proposed budgets.
After much debate, the elections will be held in person, though they were already pushed back from their regular date of the third Saturday in February.
For district one, the Martinsville Fire Company, there are two candidates who have presented petitions, William Rose and Jim Cowley, both incumbents. As of press time, no other petitions had been received from potential candidates.

Beaver Lake Fire crews responded with Piney Point and NEBCO FD to assist with the fire.
According to the Rocky Branch Fire Department, the fire started around 5:15 p.m.
When firefighters arrived two boats were fully covered in flames. A third was in danger of catching fire but firefighters were able to cut it loose and save it.
The other two boats are a total loss, one of the two burned down to the water line and eventually sank into the water.
The department was not able to launch marine units because of the weather.
The owners of the boats have been contacted and are aware of what happened.

According to the Rocky Branch Fire Department, the fire started around 5:15 p.m.
When firefighters arrived two boats were fully covered in flames. A third was in danger of catching fire but firefighters were able to cut it loose and save it.
Forecasts from the National Weather Service still show significant ice accumulations. Most of Pittsylvania County is projected to see somewhere between half and three-quarters of an inch of accumulated ice.
