Peggy Anne Martin Kirschten, 86, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021, after a period of declining health. She was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, to the late Edith Fuller Martin.
Peggy grew up in Hopkinsville and attended Austin Peay State University briefly before moving to Louisville. She had a beloved group of friends in Louisville who shared good food and fun through weekly dinner parties, annual beach trips, and lots and lots of laughs. Peggy retired to Hillsborough in 2005 to be closer to her sons Paul and Jon. She met a group of dear friends through Curves who stopped exercising when it closed but continued to meet for lunch weekly. She was a loyal friend, having remained close with grade-school classmates. Peggy cultivated beautiful gardens everywhere she lived and loved to watch and identify the birds who visited her feeders. Beloved and slightly deranged dogs and cats accompanied most of her lifeâs journey. Her wacky sense of humor and unique sense of style end ....
