A peace and reconciliation committee to resolve communal conflicts in Terekeka County of Central Equatoria State is set to begin grass-root consultations to promote harmony among communities torn apart by inter-communal conflicts.
In the last couple of months, local communities in the area clashed severally leaving hundreds displaced and scores dead, including the son of the former Governor of Central Equatoria State, Gen. Clement Wani Konga. 
Dr. Paul Pitiya Benjamin Yugusuk, the Archbishop of Central Equatoria Internal Province who also doubles as the chairperson of the peace and reconciliation committee, told Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday that he is hopeful that peace and reconciliation will prevail in Terekeka County. ....
