CCACC Art Gallery Host Virtual Exhibition to Celebrate AAPI Month

CCACC Art Gallery is hosting a virtual artwork exhibition to celebrate AAPI heritage month. Featured with the artworks from eight renowned Asian Pacific artists, this exhibition is free and open to everyone. Applied with different perspectives and their own unique creations, their artworks present the multi-cultural heritage and active innovative spirit of the Asian-Pacific American community in the United States.
Those eight artists are Akemi Maegawa, Yoshiko Ratliff, In-soon Shin, Myoung-Won Kwon, Shanye Huang, Paul K. Y. Kwok, Quanxuan Shuai and Yuming Sun.

City of Rockville’s Parks, Civic Center and Nature Center to Gradually Reopen
The City of Rockville will gradually reopen some of its facilities during April in accordance with revised county and state COVID-19 health regulations.
Residents will be able to hold small gatherings again at city facilities including parks and the Glenview Mansion and social hall. Also, rehearsal or recording sessions at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre will be allowed. And visits to the city’s Croydon Creek Nature Center will be available by appointment.
Park Rentals
Permits for the 2021 parks rental season are available for 12 Rockville parks. Permitted use begins on Thursday, April 15 for these parks: Calvin, Civic Center, Fallsgrove, Hillcrest, Isreal, King Farm (park and farmstead), Maryvale, Monument, North Farm, Potomac Woods and Woodley Gardens. ....
