Musica has now closed down all its stores.
The group announced their decision to close their 59 stores around the country in January. They had already closed down 19 stores then.
They shared the sad news that they’ve officially closed down all their stores on Facebook on Wednesday, 26 May.
When announcing the news in January the Clicks Group, which Musica was under, said the full closure would take effect from 31 May. They said the move from physical CDs and DVDs to online streaming platforms, as well as Covid-19, had an impact on the closing of the stores. ....

Johannesburg - The Clicks Pharmacy Group has been given approval by the Department of Health (DOH) to offer vaccinations at 47 sites around the country, with a further 520 locations still awaiting approval.
This means members of the public will be able to get their Covid-19 vaccinations done at the approved sites, but these sites are yet to be confirmed.
This also does not mean members of the public will be able to simply walk-in at the approved pharmacies for a jab, but they will still have to register through the Department of Health’s Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS), which will determine and allocate members of the public through an SMS, about where and when they can go to get their vaccine job. ....

Clicks planning to buy Pick n Pay pharmacies

BUSINESS NEWS - Clicks is planning to buy Pick n Pay’s retail pharmacy business, that will include 25 in-store pharmacies. These pharmacies will be rebranded to Clicks, increasing its national presence to 632 pharmacies.
According to a Stock Exchange News Service (SENS0 statement, Clicks will obtain the pharmacy licences and ethical drug stock, and all staff working in the pharmacies will be transferred to Clicks in terms of the proposed transaction.
Clicks is already the biggest pharmacy chain in the country, before adding the Pick n Pay pharmacies.
“The acquisition of the pharmacy chain accelerates our strategy of extending the convenience and accessibility of the Clicks pharmacy network. Currently, 50% of the country’s population live within 6 kilometres of a Clicks pharmacy and we aim to improve this over time as we get closer to customers. ....
