Emergency services were called to a construction site on Gilgandra Road, North Bondi, shortly before 8am following reports that a brick wall had collapsed on a person. The incident occurred on the same site where a different wall collapsed on October 30. The previous incident at the Bondi site has no relationship to the current matter and remains under active investigation, a spokesman for SafeWork NSW said. The 23-year-old was rushed to St Vincent s Hospital in a serious condition with head, chest and shoulder injuries after the wall fell on top of him, a NSW Ambulance spokesman said. The man, believed to be a construction worker, was working at the Gilgandra Road site in North Bondi when the horror incident unfolded. Paramedics were called to the scene just before 8am, and he was taken to hospital. More to come ....
