Man hospitalized following shooting in Windham County Share Updated: 12:57 PM EST Jan 25, 2021 NBC5 News Share Updated: 12:57 PM EST Jan 25, 2021 A Vermont man is hospitalized following a shooting in Windham County on Sunday, according to state police. Investigators said 23-year-old Colby Boyce, of Guilford, was dropped off at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital at approximately 6:25 p.m., with multiple gunshot wounds. Boyce was flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where he is receiving treatment in the intensive care unit. Police say the shooting may have occurred on Guilford Center Road, but all aspects of the case including the location remain under investigation. State police are asking anyone with additional information on the shooting to call Det. Trooper Jason Lengfellner at 802-722-4600. ....
The Vermont State Police is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday, January 24, 2021, in southeastern Vermont. The state police was notified at about 6:25 pm Sunday that a man suffering multiple gunshot wounds had been dropped off at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. Responding detectives spoke with the victim, later identified as Colby Boyce, 23, of Guilford. Boyce was subsequently flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and is currently in the intensive care unit. Subsequent investigation indicates the shooting might have occurred on Guilford Center Road in Guilford, but all aspects of the case, including the location, remain under active investigation at this time. ....

(Ellsworth) â The next city manager for Ellsworth will likely come from in-house. City Council chair Dale Hamilton tells Star 97.7 that the council discussed things in executive session Monday night and offered the job to current police Chief Glenn Moshier. Hamilton tells Star 97.7 theyâre negotiating a contract and hope to have something in place next week. Moshier has run the city since manager David Cole retired in September. He was not one of the 18-people who applied for the job.
