RALEIGH – The Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster (RTCC), an initiative of business, government, academic and nonprofit leaders focused on accelerating the growth of the regional and state-wide cleantech economy, has announced that Emmit Owens was unanimously chosen by the RTCC board as the organization’s Interim Executive Director. Emmit previously served as the membership recruitment and retention manager of RTCC.
The decision is part of a plan by the Board of Directors to find a permanent successor for outgoing Executive Director, Susan Sanford. “We want to thank Susan for all of her hard work and leadership over the past five years.
