Image: Christina Cope GENEROUS employees at the Burnley aerospace company Safran Nacelles raised £782 for Pendleside Hospice over the Christmas period. Workers at the Bancroft Road site took part in the company’s Christmas Corporate ‘Raiseathon’ from December 1 to January 5. The charitable initiatives included donations from employees for their Christmas lunch, team donations for taking part in the hospice’s Christmas Zoom quiz, and a company donation of £500 on behalf of the whole team. Employee Sandra McLaughlin raised £120 by donating 10 per cent from sales of chocolate oranges decorated as cats, monkeys, reindeers, snowmen and footballs. ....
