Christmas Toy Drive — 80 riders bring joy to St Mary's children's ward

ISLE of Wight bikers paid a visit to St Mary s Hospital on Sunday December 20 for their annual Christmas Toy Run.
Every year since 2006 bikers, trikers, scooters, and even grannies on mopeds, gather to take toys and gifts for children, nurses and doctors to the hospital s children s ward.
This year, observing Covid guidelines, an 80-strong group made sure the children received a selection of presents.
Organiser and lead bike of the Christmas Toy Run, Buster Spicer, followed closely behind two inflatable reindeer which were attached to the handlebars of his Suzuki.

Buster said: I went up to the children s ward prior to the Toy Run to see if it was still viable with the pandemic, and with a couple of adjustments we were able to do it. ....
