Itâs also been a year of reckoning in relation to racial politics, with organisations rethinking who they are and how they operate. Assembly has grown out of this unique cultural and historical moment.

A coalition of racial justice organizations and community advocates are calling on Iowa officials to take aggressive and proactive steps to slow the spread of the coronavirus within the state’s jails and prisons.
