A Buffalo man has been virtually arraigned in State Supreme Court on an indictment charging him with one count of second degree murder, and one count of first degree manslaughter. Reginald Jordan, 37, is accused of shaking his six-month-old son King Jordan and causing blunt-force injuries to the child s head and neck, which would prove fatal. First responders were called to an apartment on Grote Street in the Black Rock neighborhood on the evening of Sept. 20, 2019 for a report of an infant not breathing. The baby died two days later at Oishei Children s Hospital. Jordan is due back in court May 27 and is being held without bail. If convicted, he faces up to 25 year to life in prison. ....

Investigators say that on September 20, 2019, first responders were called out to an apartment on Grote Street in Buffalo for a call of an unresponsive infant. When they got there, 6-month-old King Jordan was not breathing. The baby was take to Oishei Children s Hospital where he died two days later. It s alleged that Reginald J. Jordan, 37, shook the infant, causing injuries to the baby s head and neck, which ultimately led to the child s death. ....
