Graeme Farrow said a settlement over their possible introduction can t come soon enough . Wales First Minister Mark Drakeford has said the matter is being discussed between the four governments in the UK. Opposition parties have highlighted concerns about the plans for such a scheme in Wales. The centre is hoping to be open by October and fully operational - with no social distancing - by Christmas. ....

One of the organisers, Graeme Farrow, said the event would be a celebration of what we can enjoy again hopefully very soon . The line-up includes musicians Cate Le Bon, Gruff Rhys, Catrin Finch, band Adwaith, as well as comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean among others. Gwyl will be available on the BBC website over the weekend. It has been created by the organisers behind the Festival of Voice, Focus Wales, Other Voices Cardigan and the Aberystwyth Comedy Festival. ....

It will bring together four of Wales major arts, music and comedy festivals and be broadcast as part of the BBC s Culture in Quarantine initiative. Director of BBC Wales Rhodri Talfan Davies said Gŵyl 2021 would provide a much needed blast of creativity . It will be online and on BBC Radio Wales and Radio Cymru on 6-7 March. ....
