Air pollution, water scarcity, and climate change in general are some of the serious challenges facing the MENA economies and residents that have been overshadowed by energy, security, and political debates surrounding the region. Nonetheless, considering their significant negative impact on the economic development of the MENA countries, inclusive, sustainable, and stable economic growth will require timely and effective solutions for the region s environmental challenges.

So, when Ceasar heard a developer was considering a project centered around the 600 to 800 blocks of West Atlantic Avenue that includes a Publix, office space, workforce, affordable housing and retail, he was all for it. After 40 years of non-development and just buildings being knocked down and open fields, this would be an opportunity for black businesses to move into the infrastructure, he said.
Florida Developer Sues CRA Over $75M Project
Miami-based developer BH3 Management LLC filed a complaint Friday against the Community Redevelopment Association of Delray Beach, Florida, after the CRA board moved to terminate a public-private partnership.
The partnership was formed to give land worth $19M to the developer to build a mixed-use project anchored by a Publix supermarket. The CRA argued that the developer did not meet key deadlines, but BH3 contends it should be entitled to more time because of the coronavirus pandemic and design changes requested by stakeholders.
