Ledbury s annual Community Day will not take place in June this year, because of the Covid Pandemic. The annual Ledbury Big Breakfast starts from today until Monday - but with a slightly different recipe for success this year. The event usually takes place in cafes, pubs and hotels in the town, showcasing the best of local produce, but these venues are now closed during the third lockdown. Participants are being asked to visit local shops and create their own breakfast at home. Griff Holliday from the Ledbury Food Group which is organising the event, said: “We want to encourage everyone to support local butchers and greengrocers. This is the first time it s been held with social isolation rules in place and I want to remind people to observe Government requirements when out shopping and at home. ....
