For those of us working in the housing sector we have always recognised the importance of a good quality home for a person s physical and mental wellbeing. There is perhaps now a greater recognition across society of how housing is a foundation stone for everything else. The promotion of the importance of quality housing in rural areas is something that the NI Federation of Housing Associations has been championing alongside the NI Housing Executive and the Rural Community Network for many years.
