04 May 2021 | Bikes First look at the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing TE 300i two-strokes which Graham Jarvis, Billy Bolt and Alfredo Gomez will race in the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship beginning this coming weekend in Portugal at Extreme XL Lagares, May 7-9. All three of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing riders say they will arrive at round one of the HEWC with plenty of preparation under their belts from the extended off-season. Bolt and Gomez, a former WESS Championship winner and runner-up respectively, arrive fully fit for the season which will see them race solely on the two-stroke TE 300i machines. ....
HEWC Rnd 1, Extreme XL Lagares incoming Round one of the long-awaited 2021 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship (HEWC) at Extreme XL Lagares on May 7-9 is on the horizon but the organisers say spectators will not be allowed at the Portuguese event this year. For an event which is traditionally swamped with crowds in the street prologue and out in the hills for the extreme enduro race, it will mean a very different atmosphere at Lagares this year. April 11, 2021 - 7:00 AM A Kelowna man who was part of a two-person armed robbery of a Subway sandwich shop in 2017 was given a relatively light sentence after showing a marked effort to improve his lot in life. Jonathan Graham Jarvis, 38, pleaded guilty to an Aug. 8, 2017 robbery of the Subway on Springfield Road and was sentenced to nine months in prison. Generally, the normal range of sentence in a robbery case involving a firearm is between two and nine years. According to a court decision by Justice Steven Wilson published this week, Jarvis was involved with the robbery that saw one person enter the Kelowna sandwich shop using an imitation handgun and demanding that the till be handed over. ....
