Bicester Tesco staff run 10km in memory of colleague who was hit by police car

STAFF at Bicester s Tesco supermarket flooded a sports ground in a wave of blue to help raise funds for charity in memory of their colleague who died in a tragic crash. Kimberley Cameron, 27, was hit by a police car that was heading to a crash on the evening of April 16 on the A41 in Aylesbury. A tribute by her family said: Kimberley was a very much loved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and niece. She was a truly remarkable, independent young woman, who, despite having Type 1 diabetes lived every day to the full and never let it define who she was. Ms Cameron worked as a manager at Tesco in Bicester and on May 23, her colleagues ran, walked and cycled up to 10km at Whitelands Farm exercise track to fundraise for Diabetes UK in memory of her.

Kimberley Cameron was killed when she was hit by a police car on Friday evening The family of a 27-year-old woman who died in a car crash with a police vehicle have paid tribute to her today. Kimberley Cameron, from Aylesbury, died after a crash which took place at just before 5.50pm in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, on Friday evening. The police vehicle was responding to a crash in nearby Waddesdon when it hit Ms Cameron. Thames Valley Police said that despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Ms Cameron, who was from Aylesbury, died of her injuries at the scene. The A41 was closed in both directions for several hours as a result of the two crashes.
